About this website

I took out this domain name because it is beginning to look like I might possibly need it at some point in the future.  And if I don't, I hope to tell a few homeless stories here and be able to help out some of the people who are.

I've never had this much trouble getting a job.  Of course being 58 doesn't help.  I'm starting to see ageism a lot recently when I go for an interview.  It's something you don't think about until it happens to you.  Even though I have been on computers for over 15 years and it was in my resume he told me on the phone "We hired the two younger guys because we thought they would be better on the computer."  If I could have reached through the phone and slapped him I would have.

This economy is not looking good.  There is a saying "The bigger the boom, the bigger the bust!"  I think we are in real trouble. It's beginning to look like its "Over for Rover" as far as the economy is concerned.  It's definitely the time to cut back on expenses and save whatever you can for the hard times are just begining.  Jobs are hard to come by and good jobs - - -hahaha.

Well, they say the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the bit of extra effort that's put forth.  So if this economy ends up putting me in the woods and I end up standing by the side of the highway with a sign asking for donations I'll also be standing by the side of the information highway with a Paypal button for donations.  Hopefully it won't come to that but things aren't looking good.  If the people in Washington DC had done their job things wouldn't be unraveling like they are!!  Same old, same old.
